Book Review: Graceling by Kristin Cashore

Graceling (Graceling Realm, #1)Graceling by Kristin Cashore
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I only have one gif to describe how I feel about this book...

ALL OF THE FEELS!!! I even yelled 'fuck you' when King Leck sat there in the middle of the room, saying all those terrible things about his daughter, Bitterblue, but then at the end, Katsa killed him by throwing a dagger in his mouth-in which I went AHHHH YISSSSS.

But I did ship Katsa and Po (knew that was gonna happen), I thought Katsa's grace was killing, but it turned out it was Survival. And when Po had to hide his true grace (mind reading), it honestly broke my heart, but I understood completely.

All in all, I enjoyed this book and I can't wait to read more from this series.

Book Review: Dragonwitch by Anne Elizabeth Stengl

Dragonwitch (Tales of Goldstone Wood, #5)Dragonwitch by Anne Elisabeth Stengl
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Okay...one, HOLY CRAP THIS BOOK IS AMAZING. I loved it, even though it took me so long to read it. I loved the world-building, I loved the characters, and I loved the villain. Is that weird, that I would like the villain? And when the legend said that the Chronicler was the hero, the heir of the flaming sword, I almost gasped-AND THE ENDING. OMG THE ENDING. I LOVED IT A LOT.

My favorite characters has to be the Dragonwitch and Mouse. I honestly fell in love with the story of the Dragonwitch, of how she lost her family and fell in love with one of the heros of the story, but then once she found out that he was in love with someone else, she got mad and turned into a dragon, though she died twice and came back the third time, but died again the arms of her love. And Mouse is also my favorite because of her bravery and how she looked for the Chronicler.

Now the ship between Leta and the Chronicler surprised me because Leta was supposed to marry Alistair (and as soon as I saw that name, I thought of Dragon Age's Alistair) but then when the goblins came and took over the town, I was scared that Leta won't see her friend again. But at the end I'm glad they did.

All in all I enjoyed this book and I really do recommend it a lot!!!

Book Review: Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Bad Moon Rising (Dark-Hunter, #14; Were-Hunter, #6; Hellchaser, #3)Bad Moon Rising by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Okay...THIS BOOK THO. I teared up at some parts, I wanted to throw the darn book at the wall, but I just couldn't and FINALLY, after all this time, Fang & Aimee got together, even though they endured some hardships and Fang fighting in hell, this was an amazing book.

So this book started off with Vane and Fang showing the first two guys, Keegan and Liam, and it was nice (but also funny when Fang went to sleep for a couple moments), but it was also when Fang met Aimee. And as we moved along in this wonderful story, we get to the part where Anya, Fang and Vane's sister, was about to give birth to the puppies until they were attacked (oddly enough, I've forgot who attacked them-I wanna say Daimons so badly) but then at the end, when all of them were dead, Acheron couldn't save Anya and her pups (sadly) so when Markus (the dick) found out about Anya's death, he LITERALLY pissed me off right then when he decided right then to beat them and hang them from a tree. I would thought the gators would get them...but now.

HERE COMES THE BLOODY DAIMONS, CHOMPIN' AT 'EM.

Fang loses half his soul and ends up in the Netherworld, where he's fighting demons, and at the same time, Aimee and Dev are out killing the Daimons who took Fang’s soul, slowly but surely, but then Misery wanted her, so Fang does the most stupid thing I can’t believe he would do.

HE SOLD HIS SOUL.

EXCUSE YOU, SIR, YOU DINGUS, YOU SASSY SUE, YOU MOOK, I OUTTA….OUTTA…

Well…I just let Thorn kick your wolfish ass before I do it.

AND SPEAKING OF THORN....he gives Fang his first assignment-to beat the demon Phrixis...and Fang does the opposite and kills him, making him suck the demon's soul inside him, and also making him the demon's host, and the demon's power made him kill-and he almost hurt Aimee when the demon's took over him, but then he quickly snapped back and pushed her away so he won't hurt her. Then there were some murders that happened and Fang was scared that he was doing them, but it turns out it was Misery and her cronies.

But the worst part of the book was the battle in Sanctuary, and when Mama Lo and Papa Bear died. I was like, NO, YOU DON'T DIE, THAT'S SO BAD, YOU STUPID DEMONS, I FRICKIN' HATE YOU but at the end, Fang & Aimee FINALLY mated and they are now the owners of Sanctuary and is rebuilding (and will open July 4th).

I loved this novel because of the feels and the Fang & Aimee feels, and seeing Vane again...UGH ALL OF THE FEELS!!! I loved it and I really really do recommend it!!!

Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo {Book Review}

Shadow and Bone (The Grisha, #1)Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I'd normally wouldn't pick this book up, but I gave this book a three out of five-mainly because I was confused in the beginning but then as I kept reading it, I started to like it more.

So what's happening in the book? Well it's about a girl named Alina who was a mapmaker for the First Army. Then one day while out in the Fold, they were attacked by some birds called volcra, and her childhood friend, Mal, got hurt, a burst of light came forth from her, and the next day she is transported to the royal court, where she became a Grisha or a Sun Summoner. Everyone rushed up to her, thinking she was special, including the Darkling.

Slowly, the Darkling and Alina were falling in love until after the Winter Ball, where her teacher and the Darkling's mother told her to run. But sadly once she reunited with Mal and found the frickin' deer, the Darkling found them, threatening to torment Mal if she don't use her powers. So she went with him, using her powers to destroy the town before turning them around and used it on the Darkling.

Then she threw herself off the ship so she can be with Mal, though the Darkling reached for her. Once she was on the ground, the two ran off to West Ravka, where Mal went and found some clothes for them so they won’t be noticed, and he also found a scarf so she could cover her deer collar.
But all I enjoyed this book a lot and would recommend it.
