A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OH. MY. GOD. THIS BOOK, THO. I've been reading this book since I got it (I don't remember when I got it...) but I've read it before class starts, during dinner if I'm out, practically everywhere because I wanted to finish this book so so badly. So in this review I'm going to break it up by Houses.

House Stark-The book starts out with Bran Stark riding out with his father Eddard, his brother Robb, and his half-brother, Jon and they found the direwolves. Then King Robert comes to Winterfell and the two went to Lyanna's grave, and Robert asks Ned can he be hand of the King. I forgot if Ned says yes or no (I have short-term memory loss) so the Starks (Ned, Arya, and Sansa) goes to King's Landing, Jon goes off to the Wall with Benjen Stark, and Robb, Catelyn, Bran, and Rickon stay in Winterfell. While in Winterfell, Bran climbed up the tower and saw Jaime and Cersei making love and with the words, "The things I do for love," Jaime pushes Bran to the ground, breaking his legs and making him unable to move his legs. Then Ned and Catelyn got a letter from Catelyn's sister, Lysa, saying something about the Lannisters and a couple of chapters later in a tavern, Catelyn spotted Tyrion and captured him and took him to the Vale, where he was persecuted (I think) and was on trial for trying to kill Bran. Tyrion was found not guilty (but he's on my 'I'm going to hit people' list) and was set free. In King's Landing, Ned's trying to solve the Who-dun-it case of who killed Jon Arryn and he wound up getting beheaded by King Bitch Boy Joffery Baratheon after being accused of killing the King (WHICH, by the way, he didn't do). Sansa was in love with Joffrey, but then Joff's true colors was shown and he called Sansa a 'stupid girl' (in which I would slap him ten times hard) and have his knights slap her hard. Jon's on the Wall, taking the Black and becoming steward to the Old Bear who is grooming him for Commander.

House Lannister-Where can I start with this House? I hate, no, I ahobr this family SO DANG MUCH. Jaime's a little igit, wounding Lord Stark, then going into war THEN he gets himself caught by Robb Stark. Cersei...Cersei's such a little bitch, telling Sansa to write those stupid letters to her family to swear featley to Joffrey and delcare him the true him. TRICK PLEASE. Tyrion...now I like Tyrion, I have no problems with Tyrion, but SAY ONE MORE THING ABOUT YOUR DANG DADDY, I WILL HIT YOU, SON. Lord Tywin, I forever hate you and I can't stand you.

House Targaryen-AKA my house. Dany marries Khal Drogo because Viserys told her to, got pregnant, lose the baby, her husband and half of the khalasar, got dragon eggs as a present, and those dragon eggs hatched and turned into three dragons. Viserys...Viserys just got a golden crown in which he died. Sadly he wasn't a true dragon and fire cannot kill a dragon.

House Baratheon-I wonder should I just say the things that is on my mind because King Robert did a good job ruling, Renly was just the sweetest ever, and I just don't like Joff.

Book Review: Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Night Play (Were-Hunter, #1; Dark-Hunter, #5)Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What can I say about this book? It has a whole lot of sexy werewolves, FEELS, some wibbly wobbly timey wimey (I am convinced that Vane is a mini Time Lord and he's his own personal TARDIS). This was an awesome book and it made me want a Vane so I can keep him myself so he won't get away.

Vane sees Bride in her store after he was watching Sunshine and as soon as he brought her that $600 Victorian necklace, the feels happened. It happened to the point that I cried because I wanted to be in Bride's place. So after the feels and me crying up a storm through their first date and all, then I was introduced to Taylor, Bride's stupid-ass ex-boyfriend, who latterly called her fat. EXCUSE ME, SON? Is what I said before Vane showed up, punched Taylor and paid the moving men to put Bride's things back where they belong. Then when they were having lunch, Vane's hand showed the same mark that was on Bride's hand and the only thing that was hilarious was that Bride thought that Vane was a serial killer.

So Bride called Tabitha and they went to Amanda and Kyrian's house, where Vane and Fury explained everything AFTER Amanda mistakenly let in the demon Alastor and Vane had to beat him up and such, then Bride was kidnapped by Alastor and was sent to the Dark Ages, when Bride met Vane's mother, Bryani. Bryani tells Bride the long and everlasting story of how she met Vane's father and how she gave birth to Vane, Fury, Fang and three human children, that she wanted to kill the three Katagari but never did. Then she saw the mark on Bride's hand and goes, 'Oh I'm sorry Bride, there is only one way to break the mark,' And all of a sudden all those guys stating going after her like they were going to rape her.

Thank god for Vane who flashed in (like a TARDIS, but without a sound) and saved Bride from those rapist bastards and then for two weeks, they spent some time together. When Vane went to see Fang for a while, Bride had dinner with Valerius (they were at his house at this time) and Valerius was the perfect host and when Vane came back, Valerius told Vane that Bride's a good mate and that he would protect her I think. Vane was shocked to hear Valerius' pledge.

To me the most romantic part of the book was Thanksgiving dinner with Bride's family. Even though Fury and Vane was a little uncomfortable, they helped Bride's father with a troublesome dog. But the one thing that made me made as hell was Bride's sister, Deidre, saying that Vane's out of her sister's league and that she was better with Taylor. Really, bro? Really?

But my favorite part was when Bride and Vane went to Sanctuary for a Thanksgiving dinner, Vane and Bride went to see Fang and as soon as Vane went to get drinks, Bryani showed up...and let's just say that Bride TOLD Bryani that if she comes near her and Vane again...she'll don on her camo, hunt her down, and skin her till she screams.

NOW CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!!!

Then at the end, Vane sang 'Story of Us' and they got engaged. Then Simi said what every girl wishes from her favorite actor/model/singer/wrestler: akri, get Travis Fimmel here so he can marry me!'

Simi...I'm with you on that.

But Ash said no (*cries*) but then it alls good because at the end, Mr. Mini-TARDIS Kattalakis went to the Island and made a couple of changes to his parents fates (WAIT A MINUTE...HE CAN'T DO THAT!! Can he? Oh yeah he just did...dang this wibbly wobbly, timey wimey thing) and then he went back to Bride and held her...which made me have feels again.

I do reconmend this book a whole lot an I hope you'll love it like I did!

Book Review: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The war against Voldemort is not going well; even the Muggle governments are noticing. Ron scans the obituary pages of the Daily Prophet, looking for familiar names. Dumbledore is absent from Hogwarts for long stretches of time, and the Order of the Phoenix has already suffered losses.

And yet, as with all wars, life goes on. Sixth-year students learn to Apparate—and lose a few eyebrows in the process. Teenagers flirt and fight and fall in love. Classes are never straightforward, though Harry receives some extraordinary help from the mysterious Half-Blood Prince.

So it's the home front that takes center stage in the multilayered sixth installment of the story of Harry Potter. Here at Hogwarts, Harry will search for the full and complex story of the boy who became Lord Voldemort—and thereby find what may be his only vulnerability.

I just….I mean….ALL OF THE FEELS. EVERY. SINGLE. LAST. OF. THEM. Dumbledore’s death (cries), the Ron/Lavender thing, Harry trying to find out what’s Malfoy up to. Luna being…well, Luna and Snape….DAMN YOU SNAPE. JUST DAMN YOU TO HELL. All in all I actually enjoyed this book and I really do reconmend the books and the movies as well!

Book Review: Get Positively Beautiful by Carmindy

According to a recent study, only 2% of women describe themselves as 'beautiful.' (Dove Global Study 'The Real Truth About Beauty: A Global Report', 2004) The media instructs women how to 'look ten years younger,' 'cover up wrinkles,' or 'get fuller, plumper lips.' And even makeup products play off womens' insecurities, promising to conceal perceived flaws, define cheekbones, or make eyelashes fuller and longer. The underlying message? That there's something inherently wrong with the way women look and that they have to spend time, money, and energy keeping up with all the ways they should 'fix' themselves.

In GET POSITIVELY BEAUTIFUL, makeup artist Carmindy from TLC's hit program What Not to Wear shows you how to change your mindset from negative fault-finding to a positive beauty philosphy. You learn how to find and focus on your best features and how to combat negative thoughts about your appearance. Carmindy demonstrates easy makeup techniques for eyes, brows, lashes, lips, cheeks, and skin, and how to adapt looks to different weather conditions and 'beauty moods.

This is a self-help book about how to put on makeup but also gives you some positive quotes and also how to give yourself a positive compliment before you put on makeup. When it comes to makeup, I only put on lipbalm, BB Cream, and whatever lipstick I have in my bag these days. But after reading this book, there were a few things I was tempted to try out, but is still scared to do. Foundation? Haven't found the perfect one yet. Mascara? Fuhgeddaboutit. I'm still looking for a new one since my old one got old. But I do reconmend this book one hundered percent to someone who's either slowly but surely wanna know about makeup or just know about it but wanna feel positive about it

Book Review: The Husband List by Janet Evanovich and Dorien Kelly

Based on the family from the bestselling Love In A Nutshell, the story of an heiress longing to marry for love or not at all

From The New York Times bestselling writing duo Janet Evanovich and Dorien Kelly, comes the story of a young woman’s search for true love. Caroline Maxwell would like nothing more than to join her brother, Eddie, and his friend, Jack Culhane, on their adventures. While Jack and Eddie are off seeing the world, buying up businesses and building wildly successful careers, Caroline's stuck at home frightening off the men her mother hopes will ask for her hand in marriage.  When her mother sets her sights on the questionable Lord Bremerton as a possible suitor, Caroline struggles with her instincts and the true nature of her heart.  She longs for adventure, passion, love, and most of all . . . Jack Culhane, an unconventional Irish-American bachelor with new money and no title. A completely unacceptable suitor in the eyes of Caroline's mother. But Caroline's dark hair, brilliant eyes and quick wit have Jack understanding just why it is people fall in love and get married.

Set in New York City in 1894, The Husband List is an American gilded age romantic mystery. It evokes memories of the lavish lifestyles and social expectations of the Vanderbilts and Rockefellers—a time when new money from the Americas married Old World social prestige and privilege. Dresses by Worth, transcontinental ocean voyages, lavish parties, a little intrigue, and a lot of romance await in, The Husband List.

This book was a fun read and it didn't take me long to read it. The first time I saw this book the only thing I saw was the design of the novel. Then when I picked it up last week and started to read it, I loved it.

It's about a girl named Caroline Maxwell who is forced to...how can I say this....be with a man she don't like but her mama does. The man in question is Lord Marcus Bermerton, aka the boring version of Chuck Bass if Chuck was from England, a lord, and BORING. But he was manipulative just like Chuck-to the point where he was hiding the fact that he killed his French wife Adele. Caroline, on the other hand, had fallen in love with Jack Culhane, a beer brewery Irishman and she wanted the adventure and she wasn't feeling Lord Borington.

I actually enjoyed this book and I do ship Jack x Caroline and I wanna read the second book!!!

One Good Knight by Mercedes Lackey

When a dragon storms the castle, what should a (virgin) princess do? Why, turn to her studies, of course But nothing practical-minded Princess Andromeda of Acadia finds gives a definitive solution. The only Traditional answer, though, is soothing the marauding dragon by a virgin sacrifice. Things are going fairly smoothly with the lottery--except for the women chosen, of course--until Princess Andromeda herself is picked

But facing down the dragon doesn't go quite as planned, and now, with the help of her Champion, Sir George, Andromeda searches for the dragon's lair. But even--"especially"--in the Five Hundred Kingdoms, bucking Tradition isn't easy. It takes the strongest of wills, knowledge, quick wits and a refusal to give up, no matter what happens along the way.

Basically, this book is about a Princess named Andromeda or Andie for short, is sacrificed to a dragon thanks to the evil plan of her mother, Queen Cassiopeia of Acadia and her right hand man, Solon (who reminded me SO MUCH of Sir William Cecil, all except he's a magician). Cassiopeia asked Solon to erect a barrier to keep out Godmothers and Champions to face the dragon.

But did they count on a female Champion? Did they also count on Andie and one of the dragons, Peri, to fall in love? Nope they did not. Did they also expect that the dragons don't eat the virgins that they sacrificed? *glares at Andie* Nope.

The most shocking thing to me was the fact that Solon killed Cassiopeia and then turn into some huge Demon that scared the living crap out of Andie, and the other fact was that Andie's mother-HER OWN MOTHER-basically turned her into a ghost in the castle when Andie started doing reports and started treating her like a young lady even though Andromeda was a Princess, and wanted to get her out of the way.

I did enjoy this book a whole lot and I really do reconmend it.

Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man

Steve Harvey, the host of the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey Morning Show, can't count the number of impressive women he's met over the years, whether it's through the "Strawberry Letters" segment of his program or while on tour for his comedy shows. These are women who can run a small business, keep a household with three kids in tiptop shape, and chair a church group all at the same time. Yet when it comes to relationships, they can't figure out what makes men tick. Why? According to Steve it's because they're asking other women for advice when no one but another man can tell them how to find and keep a man. In Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, Steve lets women inside the mindset of a man and sheds lights on concepts and questions such as:

—The Ninety Day Rule: Ford requires it of its employees. Should you require it of your man?

—How to spot a mama's boy and what if anything you can do about it.

—When to introduce the kids. And what to read into the first interaction between your date and your kids.

—The five questions every woman should ask a man to determine how serious he is.

— And more...
Sometimes funny, sometimes direct, but always truthful, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man is a book you must read if you want to understand how men think when it comes to relationships.

This book took me a long time to read and honestly? It's a good book-it helped me a little to see what kind of guy I might be looking for, but for now I'm single and waiting on him to come to me...or I'll come to him. IDK. But anyway, Steve Harvey breaks down how men thinks and some rules like the ninety-day rule, which I'll be so happy to follow, but one thing made me mad was the fact that Steve said something like, 'us men can't go out every time and buy you that Chanel bag on your birthday,'

Uh...EXCUSE ME???

On my birthday, my future boyfriend will bring me a Coach, Michael Michael Kors, Kate Spade, Lancome, ALL OF THE THINGS I WANT BECAUSE OF REASONS. Oh and also brings me books. Lots and lots of books...and all of the seasons of Game of Thrones. Because I can't live without Game of Thrones, books and other things that make me happy.

Also if he's a book nerd, we can read together and exchange books so we can learn each other's taste. But the problem is....where in the world is all the sexy and hot book-reading guys??? Where are they???? If they are somewhere in America or in England *cough*Oxford*cough* then come to Georgia PLEASE!!!!

Josaphine's Lessons

Josaphine's Lessons is a series of short stories about her sexual trysts to enrapture you. Josaphine's encounters are humorous, scandalous, and outlandish as well as revealing. She takes you on sexual adventures that are steamy, titillating and highly entertaining.

Josaphine begins her adventures as a young, immature teenager, and brings you through her ordeals as she becomes a wise, mature woman. At the end of each sexcapade, Josaphine imparts the lesson she learned. Some were easy to come by and some were hard lessons of life.

Enjoy the journey and see if her lessons are similar to your own!

Since I have no photo whatsoever of the book, I'll just say that if Samantha Jones from Sex and the City had a book, this would be it. This book has over 40 names of men and all of them has lessons and stories about these men at the same time. Some of them I loved, others I kept cringing at for some reason-for example, Larry the Mercedes Overload.

First of all, broski had too many Mercedes icons to the point where I was completely turned off by this story-COMPLETELY. Bubba-he's not a redneck one? Cracked me up a little bit but I don't know if I had a favorite, but if I did, I just can't put my finger on it.

Anyway, I do reconmend this book-you can get it on amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com and I don't know if it's sold somewhere since I know the author but I might can ask her....

The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory

Two women competing for a man's heart
Two queens fighting to the death for dominance
The untold story of Mary, Queen of Scots

This dazzling novel from the #1 New York Times bestselling author Philippa Gregory presents a new and unique view of one of history's most intriguing, romantic, and maddening heroines. Biographers often neglect the captive years of Mary, Queen of Scots, who trusted Queen Elizabeth's promise of sanctuary when she fled from rebels in Scotland and then found herself imprisoned as the "guest" of George Talbot, Earl of Shrewsbury, and his indomitable wife, Bess of Hardwick.
The newly married couple welcome the doomed queen into their home, certain that serving as her hosts and jailers will bring them an advantage in the cutthroat world of the Elizabethan court. To their horror, they find that the task will bankrupt them, and as their home becomes the epicenter of intrigue and rebellion against Elizabeth, their loyalty to each other and to their sovereign comes into question. If Mary succeeds in seducing the earl into her own web of treachery and treason, or if the great spymaster William Cecil links them to the growing conspiracy to free Mary from her illegal imprisonment, they will all face the headsman.
Philippa Gregory uses new research and her passion for historical accuracy to place a well-known heroine in a completely new tale full of suspense, passion, and political intrigue. For years, readers have clamored for Gregory to tell Mary's story, and The Other Queen is the result of her determination to present a novel worthy of this extraordinary heroine.
Philippa Gregory, once again you did an amazing job with 'The Other Queen'! This book was entirely about Mary Queen of Scots, Bess of Hardwicke and Earl of Shewsberry, or as Mary calls him, 'Chowsbewwy'. Elizabeth I was mentioned a little in this book and honestly? Throughout the book I felt sorry for Mary because one, her and Elizabeth never met. Not one time. Second, Bess drunk some haterade when the Earl, George, kept talking and seeing and falling in love with Mary and had the gall to call him a fool. Third, I never liked William Cecil AT ALL in this book. Not one fuck was given every time I see what William Cecil did. All in all I enjoyed this book a whole lot and I wanna read more from Philippa Gregory.

Book Review: A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray

A Victorian boarding school story, a Gothic mansion mystery, a gossipy romp about a clique of girlfriends, and a dark other-worldly fantasy--jumble them all together and you have this complicated and unusual first novel.
Sixteen-year-old Gemma has had an unconventional upbringing in India, until the day she foresees her mother's death in a black, swirling vision that turns out to be true. Sent back to England, she is enrolled at Spence, a girls' academy with a mysterious burned-out East Wing. There Gemma is snubbed by powerful Felicity, beautiful Pippa, and even her own dumpy roommate Ann, until she blackmails herself and Ann into the treacherous clique. Gemma is distressed to find that she has been followed from India by Kartik, a beautiful young man who warns her to fight off the visions. Nevertheless, they continue, and one night she is led by a child-spirit to find a diary that reveals the secrets of a mystical Order. The clique soon finds a way to accompany Gemma to the other-world realms of her visions "for a bit of fun" and to taste the power they will never have as Victorian wives, but they discover that the delights of the realms are overwhelmed by a menace they cannot control. Gemma is left with the knowledge that her role as the link between worlds leaves her with a mission to seek out the "others" and rebuild the Order. A Great and Terrible Beauty is an impressive first book in what should prove to be a fascinating trilogy.
This book took me a couple days to read and honestly...it's an okay book. It's about a girl named Gemma Doyle who has visions. Her mom had killed herself in the market and off she goes to Spence where she meets Ann, Felicity and Pippa. One night they all form a group called the Order and learn about the original Order though clues and mysteries. I honestly wanted Gemma's power to see the future but when she does, it kinda reminded me of the Fade in Dragon Age, I don't know why, but it does. Do I recommend this book? Kinda sorta yeah. Will I pick up the other two books in the trilogy? Maybe...

Book Review: Julia Quinn's A Night Like This

Anne Wynter’s job as governess to three highborn young ladies can be a challenge – in a single week she finds herself hiding in a closet full of tubas, playing an evil queen in a play and tending to the wounds of the oh-so-dashing Earl of Winstead. After years of dodging unwanted advances, he’s the first man who has truly tempted her, and it’s getting harder and harder to remind herself that a governess has no business flirting with a nobleman.

Daniel Smythe-Smith might be in mortal danger, but that’s not going to stop the young earl from falling in love. And when he spies a mysterious woman at his family’s annual musicale, he vows to pursue her. But Daniel has an enemy, one who has vowed to see him dead. And when Anne is thrown into peril, he will stop at nothing to ensure their happy ending

THIS BOOK THO.

Oh good lord, this book made me have so many feels for it. I read this before but I could never finish it (bad Brittany *hits self on hand*) but I honestly love this book. It starts with Daniel drunkenly shoots his friend Hugh in the leg after Hugh says, in a drunken way, that he cheated. Hugh’s father, Lord Ramsgate, threatened to kill Daniel and so it made him run to a different country.

Two years later, at the (horrible) concert the Smythe-Smith girls put on every year (I had to cover my ears because it was that horrible), Miss Anne Wynter had to perform on the piano and then when Daniel’s coming home, he instantly falls in love with Anne and then the love between Anne (aka Annelise Shawcross) and the Earl of Winstead Daniel Smythe-Smith. Which ended me in tears in my eyes.

I loved this book a whole lot. I had so many emotions that I ended up loving this book (as always). I really do reconmend this book a whole lot and I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I do.

Book Review: Lord of Temptation by Lorraine Heath

Three young heirs, imprisoned by an unscrupulous uncle, escaped--to the sea, to the streets, to faraway battle--awaiting the day when they would return to reclaim their birthright.

Once upon a time, he was Lord Tristan Easton--now he is Crimson Jack, a notorious privateer beholden to none, whose only mistress is the sea. But all that will change when exquisite Lady Anne Hayworth hires his protection on a trip into danger and seduction. . .

Desperation brought Anne to the bronzed, blue-eyed buccaneer. But after the Captain demands a kiss as his payment, desire will keep her at his side. She has never known temptation like this--but to protect her heart, she knows she must leave him behind. Yet Tristan cannot easily forget the beauty--and when they meet again in a London ballroom, he vows he won't lose her a second time, as fiery passion reignited takes them into uncharted waters that could lead the second lost lord home.

So I got done reading this book tonight and...I can't. This book made me cry at the end. I've pretty much been reading this book and I just couldn't put it down. This book was actually mailed to me by Avon Books and I just couldn't put it down.

So when Lady Anne Hayworth asked Captain Crimson Jack aka Tristan Easton to take her to her dead lover's grave, he accepts....but for one kiss. She agress and the both of them goes to her dead lover's grave thanks to the map given to Anne by one Florence Nightingale, who was called 'Lady with the Lamp' who worked at the Crimean War as a nurse and once she got to Scutari, she couldn't find her dead lover's grave, so she fell to her knees and cried, Tristan holding her in his arms. That night they made love and then for a while Anne wasn't feeling herself so Tristan took her to the Crow's Nest and she enjoyed it.

Once they got back to London, Anne tried so hard to resist Tristan's advances but she couldn't and then when it came time to her wedding to Marquess Chetwyn, he confessed that he didn't love her and that she loved Tristan. So in the end they got married and had two girls. And weddings make me cry, so imagine me crying ugly tears. I really do recommend this book a whole lot because you will get feels for it.

Time to Abuse my Netflix: Downton Abbey

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday!

Today I just did my homework and listened to Downton Abbey and honestly this is a good show. I do reconmend this show a lot because I have fallen for Matthew Crawley (curse you books and tv that have hot men for me to fall for!) but other than that its a really good show and I will find Seasons 2 and 3 and be one happy little girl.

The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks

A man with a faded, well-worn notebook open in his lap. A woman experiencing a morning ritual she doesn’t understand. Until he begins to read to her. The Notebook is an achingly tender story about the enduring power of love, a story of miracles that will stay with you forever. Set amid the austere beauty of coastal North Carolina in 1946, The Notebook begins with the story of Noah Calhoun, a rural Southerner returned home from World War II. Noah, thirty-one, is restoring a plantation home to its former glory, and he is haunted by images of the beautiful girl he met fourteen years earlier, a girl he loved like no other. Unable to find her, yet unwilling to forget the summer they spent together, Noah is content to live with only memories. . until she unexpectedly returns to his town to see him once again. Allie Nelson, twenty-nine, is now engaged to another man, but realizes that the original passion she felt for Noah has not dimmed with the passage of time. Still, the obstacles that once ended their previous relationship remain, and the gulf between their worlds is too vast to ignore. With her impending marriage only weeks away, Allie is forced to confront her hopes and dreams for the future, a future that only she can shape. Like a puzzle within a puzzle, the story of Noah and Allie is just beginning. As it unfolds, their tale miraculously becomes something different, with much higher stakes. The result is a deeply moving portrait of love itself, the tender moments, and fundamental changes that affect us all. Shining with a beauty that is rarely found in current literature, The Notebook establishes Nicholas Sparks as a classic storyteller with a unique insight into the only emotion that really matters.

Curse you, Nicholas Sparks.

Curse you and your ability to write something really romantic and good and making me cry at the end. Just...curse you.

Beacause of you, I now have a really high tolerance to men when it comes to dating and that's why I'm single as fuck right now.

I'm supposed to write a review but instead I ended up writing this so yeah....

Wanna know how I feel right now?

Well...let Merida show you how I feel....

Yep...that Merida gif summed up my whole entire feelings for 'The Notebook' and I do really reconmend this book and if you wanna see the movie, here's the trailer....

What's in my Book Purse 1/21/2013: Gosling vs Efron

Hey y'all and Happy New Year! I'm so sorry I haven't blogged in AGES-school started and it has been kicking my ass from here to North Carolina. So for this book haul, I got three books and two of them has two very sexy characters that I think you all know and love. So without further ado, here's the books for the month of January/February.

From Left to Right:
Happy Ever After by Nora Roberts
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks

Yep...I got The Notebook and The Lucky One, or as I like to call them, Gosling vs Efron. I already read Channing Tatum (Dear John) already and boy it was good. Now I'm reading Gosling first and boy is it good. Already I'm falling for Gosling's character (and if I ever meet Ryan Gosling, I would jump him, drag him to my room, and have my way with him without his current girlfriend knowing) and I just wanna slap Rachel McAdams's character but that will be in a review real soon.

Now the Lucky One I haven't seen the movie yet but when I do, I would probably want to jump Zac Efron's bones after I get done with Ryan Gosling. But I have a feeling that I'm going to love Efron's character as well...I think...

I don't normally read Nora Roberts books but I tried to read Happy Ever After and I decided to read it again and already I'm in love with it and about to ship the book's main characters. I'm not going to tell you who but in a future review I will.
