Book Review: The Crown (the Selection, #5) by Kiera Cass

The Crown (The Selection, #5)The Crown by Kiera Cass
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Just like the last book I read, I've never read the Selection series, so I picked this book up....and honestly it was the most boring book I've ever read in my life. Here's the points of the book:

-It was hella boring.

-The Selection feels like either the Bachlorette or any 2000's love competition shows, like Flavor of Love or I Love New York

-I feel like the main character rushed through the Selection, not spending time with the boys, even though she became the Queen and has to deal with a bully.

-It took the end of the book to fall in love with the translator, or to realize that she was in love with the translator for Henri.

It was an okay book, though I need to read the last four books to understand it.

Book Review: A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1)A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book...this book, this book, this book...the first time I read this book, is when my grandmama passed away, and I didn't want to touch this book at all. Now that I checked this book out nearly a couple months later, let's just say that this book basically blew my mind. I loved every single moment of this book, even cried a little at some parts, and my mouth dropped at the end. I couldn't remember everything, but I thought I break this book review down by points I wrote in my journal so I won't forget.

-I like Tamlin, even though he lied to Feyre. I know he did it to protect her from Amanthra, but to keep doing it throughout the book urked me a bit, but then I got over it at the end.

-Dislike Rhysand because he's annoying, even though he is the High Lord of the Night Court. Yeah he's cute and have wings and can break your mind without a second thought. But good lord, Rhysand annoys me so much, even when he made Feyre drink that faerie wine and made her dance till she puked.

-Don't know how people ship Feyre x Rhysand-I don't see it. Sorry, I just don't.

-Lucien is a okay petunia. That is all.

-I hated Nesta in the beginning, then I grew to like her. Yes she used to live in a big-ass house, was rich and brought whatever she wanted, but to be hateful towards your sisters and hate your father for giving it all up (I think, I don't remember the reason why she hates her father) but then when Tamlin sent Feyre back, and Feyre saw how Tamlin took care of her family, Nesta knew everything, and she told Feyre that she knew what was going on, and that there wasn't no Great Aunt whatchimacallit.

-Feyre got on my nerves about finding a way out of the "Treaty" but couldn't. I understand that you want to go back home, Feyre, but good lord girl, if you can't leave, you can't leave-everyone told you that-the Suriel, Tamlin, everyone.

-Amarantha is scary AF and I'm glad Tamlin killed her.

I really do recommend this book a lot and I enjoyed it a lot!!!
