Ser Jaime Lannister: I Don't Hate Him Anymore

Maybe it's because next week Game of Thrones season 4 is about to come on, or that Jaime Lannister had grown on me. Once upon a time, I would hate his guts, hate everything about him, but as the show (and story) progressed, I honestly...felt sorry for him..and I fell for him.

I was supposed to HATE him, but then he grew on me SO BADLY. I don't know if is the beard or the eyes or his charming attitude or WHAT, but DAMMIT JAIME, WHY DID YOU TURN HAWT TO ME NOW??? Why, why why why???

Oh don't give me that look, you beautiful, dirty man you...I'm supposed to hate you, but instead I love you now....damn damn damn.....

Book Review: Classic: An It Girl Novel by Cecily von Ziegesar

Classic (It Girl, #10)Classic by Cecily von Ziegesar
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

It's Valentine's day at Waverly, and everyone is paired up for that week, thanks to the Perfect Match system. Everyone's happy....or are they? Jenny Humphries thought she can spend the whole week with her perfect boyfriend, Isaac Dresdsen, the dean's son. But things don't go well at the Valentine's Dance where Isaac's girlfriend, Molly, showed up and Jenny realized that Isaac was nothing more than a liar and she ran out of the Ball, but before she ran back to Dumbarton, she looked at her friend Brett Messerschmidt, who saw the text message between Isaac and Molly when she went over the dean's house to spend time with her Perfect Match, which was Isaac and not Jenny. Jenny was paired up with Julian McCafferty, who was nice to her during the week.

Callie was torn between two guys-Brandon Buchanan and Easy Walsh, who came back from military school. She met up with Easy before school started (that was because he was standing outside waiting on her) and during the week, all she cared about was both boys, until she realized that all she cared about was what Easy was doing, and not Brandon. Oh and Callie was paired with Alan St. Girard, a stoner and Brandon was paired with a girl named Cora, who basically did the Perfect Match thing and liked Brandon and at the end (*sounds like Sheldon Cooper* spoiler alert!) get together. At the Valentine's Ball, both Easy and Brandon collected hearts and the people was about to announce the name of the person who got the most hearts, Brandon said 'forget it' because before they started searching for these hearts to Callie, she sent them a break-up form e-mail, thanks to stoner Alan, and at the end, Easy and Callie got together.

Oh Miss Tinsley Carmichael. Tinsley, Tinsley, Tinsley. What can I say about you? Your Perfect Match was Heath Ferro and you got your revenge with your best friend Brett on Isla (no, not Elsa from Disney's Frozen), whom you hate so much after the party she threw at the dean's house, but got you in trouble and had to do community service. But when you tried to find out what did Isla did in her old school, you went diggin' until you found Isla's geeky ex-boyfriend Xander, got some EMBRASSING photos of her, and at the Ball showed them to the school. You, my friend, were the only one laughing while everyone else glared at you. In the bathroom in which you slinked to, you and Isla called it truce.

Brett Messerschmidt, your partner in crime, was deeply jealous of Isla to go through with this Operation: Embrass Isla that you ignored your boyfriend Sebastian Valenti because he was litterly all over Isla and you were jealous. You were also matched up with Jenny's boyfriend Isaac and when you saw those text messages, you wanted to tell Jenny but you didn't until the end when Jenny met Molly and left. But you got back in Sebastian's good graces at the end.

All in all this was a good book and I enjoyed it a whole lot.

A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1)A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

OH. MY. GOD. THIS BOOK, THO. I've been reading this book since I got it (I don't remember when I got it...) but I've read it before class starts, during dinner if I'm out, practically everywhere because I wanted to finish this book so so badly. So in this review I'm going to break it up by Houses.

House Stark-The book starts out with Bran Stark riding out with his father Eddard, his brother Robb, and his half-brother, Jon and they found the direwolves. Then King Robert comes to Winterfell and the two went to Lyanna's grave, and Robert asks Ned can he be hand of the King. I forgot if Ned says yes or no (I have short-term memory loss) so the Starks (Ned, Arya, and Sansa) goes to King's Landing, Jon goes off to the Wall with Benjen Stark, and Robb, Catelyn, Bran, and Rickon stay in Winterfell. While in Winterfell, Bran climbed up the tower and saw Jaime and Cersei making love and with the words, "The things I do for love," Jaime pushes Bran to the ground, breaking his legs and making him unable to move his legs. Then Ned and Catelyn got a letter from Catelyn's sister, Lysa, saying something about the Lannisters and a couple of chapters later in a tavern, Catelyn spotted Tyrion and captured him and took him to the Vale, where he was persecuted (I think) and was on trial for trying to kill Bran. Tyrion was found not guilty (but he's on my 'I'm going to hit people' list) and was set free. In King's Landing, Ned's trying to solve the Who-dun-it case of who killed Jon Arryn and he wound up getting beheaded by King Bitch Boy Joffery Baratheon after being accused of killing the King (WHICH, by the way, he didn't do). Sansa was in love with Joffrey, but then Joff's true colors was shown and he called Sansa a 'stupid girl' (in which I would slap him ten times hard) and have his knights slap her hard. Jon's on the Wall, taking the Black and becoming steward to the Old Bear who is grooming him for Commander.

House Lannister-Where can I start with this House? I hate, no, I ahobr this family SO DANG MUCH. Jaime's a little igit, wounding Lord Stark, then going into war THEN he gets himself caught by Robb Stark. Cersei...Cersei's such a little bitch, telling Sansa to write those stupid letters to her family to swear featley to Joffrey and delcare him the true him. TRICK PLEASE. Tyrion...now I like Tyrion, I have no problems with Tyrion, but SAY ONE MORE THING ABOUT YOUR DANG DADDY, I WILL HIT YOU, SON. Lord Tywin, I forever hate you and I can't stand you.

House Targaryen-AKA my house. Dany marries Khal Drogo because Viserys told her to, got pregnant, lose the baby, her husband and half of the khalasar, got dragon eggs as a present, and those dragon eggs hatched and turned into three dragons. Viserys...Viserys just got a golden crown in which he died. Sadly he wasn't a true dragon and fire cannot kill a dragon.

House Baratheon-I wonder should I just say the things that is on my mind because King Robert did a good job ruling, Renly was just the sweetest ever, and I just don't like Joff.

Book Review: Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Night Play (Were-Hunter, #1; Dark-Hunter, #5)Night Play by Sherrilyn Kenyon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

What can I say about this book? It has a whole lot of sexy werewolves, FEELS, some wibbly wobbly timey wimey (I am convinced that Vane is a mini Time Lord and he's his own personal TARDIS). This was an awesome book and it made me want a Vane so I can keep him myself so he won't get away.

Vane sees Bride in her store after he was watching Sunshine and as soon as he brought her that $600 Victorian necklace, the feels happened. It happened to the point that I cried because I wanted to be in Bride's place. So after the feels and me crying up a storm through their first date and all, then I was introduced to Taylor, Bride's stupid-ass ex-boyfriend, who latterly called her fat. EXCUSE ME, SON? Is what I said before Vane showed up, punched Taylor and paid the moving men to put Bride's things back where they belong. Then when they were having lunch, Vane's hand showed the same mark that was on Bride's hand and the only thing that was hilarious was that Bride thought that Vane was a serial killer.

So Bride called Tabitha and they went to Amanda and Kyrian's house, where Vane and Fury explained everything AFTER Amanda mistakenly let in the demon Alastor and Vane had to beat him up and such, then Bride was kidnapped by Alastor and was sent to the Dark Ages, when Bride met Vane's mother, Bryani. Bryani tells Bride the long and everlasting story of how she met Vane's father and how she gave birth to Vane, Fury, Fang and three human children, that she wanted to kill the three Katagari but never did. Then she saw the mark on Bride's hand and goes, 'Oh I'm sorry Bride, there is only one way to break the mark,' And all of a sudden all those guys stating going after her like they were going to rape her.

Thank god for Vane who flashed in (like a TARDIS, but without a sound) and saved Bride from those rapist bastards and then for two weeks, they spent some time together. When Vane went to see Fang for a while, Bride had dinner with Valerius (they were at his house at this time) and Valerius was the perfect host and when Vane came back, Valerius told Vane that Bride's a good mate and that he would protect her I think. Vane was shocked to hear Valerius' pledge.

To me the most romantic part of the book was Thanksgiving dinner with Bride's family. Even though Fury and Vane was a little uncomfortable, they helped Bride's father with a troublesome dog. But the one thing that made me made as hell was Bride's sister, Deidre, saying that Vane's out of her sister's league and that she was better with Taylor. Really, bro? Really?

But my favorite part was when Bride and Vane went to Sanctuary for a Thanksgiving dinner, Vane and Bride went to see Fang and as soon as Vane went to get drinks, Bryani showed up...and let's just say that Bride TOLD Bryani that if she comes near her and Vane again...she'll don on her camo, hunt her down, and skin her till she screams.

NOW CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!!!

Then at the end, Vane sang 'Story of Us' and they got engaged. Then Simi said what every girl wishes from her favorite actor/model/singer/wrestler: akri, get Travis Fimmel here so he can marry me!'

Simi...I'm with you on that.

But Ash said no (*cries*) but then it alls good because at the end, Mr. Mini-TARDIS Kattalakis went to the Island and made a couple of changes to his parents fates (WAIT A MINUTE...HE CAN'T DO THAT!! Can he? Oh yeah he just did...dang this wibbly wobbly, timey wimey thing) and then he went back to Bride and held her...which made me have feels again.

I do reconmend this book a whole lot an I hope you'll love it like I did!

Book Review: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

The war against Voldemort is not going well; even the Muggle governments are noticing. Ron scans the obituary pages of the Daily Prophet, looking for familiar names. Dumbledore is absent from Hogwarts for long stretches of time, and the Order of the Phoenix has already suffered losses.

And yet, as with all wars, life goes on. Sixth-year students learn to Apparate—and lose a few eyebrows in the process. Teenagers flirt and fight and fall in love. Classes are never straightforward, though Harry receives some extraordinary help from the mysterious Half-Blood Prince.

So it's the home front that takes center stage in the multilayered sixth installment of the story of Harry Potter. Here at Hogwarts, Harry will search for the full and complex story of the boy who became Lord Voldemort—and thereby find what may be his only vulnerability.

I just….I mean….ALL OF THE FEELS. EVERY. SINGLE. LAST. OF. THEM. Dumbledore’s death (cries), the Ron/Lavender thing, Harry trying to find out what’s Malfoy up to. Luna being…well, Luna and Snape….DAMN YOU SNAPE. JUST DAMN YOU TO HELL. All in all I actually enjoyed this book and I really do reconmend the books and the movies as well!
