It took me....twenty five years...to finally read this book. I've loved Alice in Wonderland since god knows when, being jealous when she followed the White Rabbit down the rabbit hole, going to Wonderland and meeting all of these strange and beautiful creatures, even having a tea party with the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, and even meeting Cheshire Cat. I've seen only two adaptations of the book-Disney's animated version of Alice in Wonderland and Tim Burton's version of Alice in Wonderland-but to finally sit and read the book and fall in love with the nonsense world that is Wonderland, made me wanna stay there forever and never leave.

My favorite characters has to be Alice, the Mad Hatter and the March Hare, the Blue Caterpillar, Cheshire Cat, the Tweedles and the White Queen. But there were so many characters and so many things to see-the Rocking-Horse fly and the Bread and Butterfly...I would live in that world forever and never leave.

When you read this book you feel like a kid again the moment you open it and you get transported into a world where you want to be seven again. That how it was for me and one day I will re-read this book, because it was so much fun and I loved every single moment of it!

This book review is gonna be short because....HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP this book, though!! I loved every single moment of it, though at some parts it gets boring, but in the end, I loved each and every moment of it, because FER ONCE IN JEAN-CLAUDE'S LIFE, he finally stood up to Belle Morte and claimed that he's the soudre de sang of his own line. GO JEAN-CLAUDE!!!!

And I felt sorry for Asher. Poor Asher. All because of Belle Morte and his fear of his face, his scars, that he thought Anita was lying when she said that she thought he was beautiful. Then when she, him and Jean-Claude had that menage a trois and Asher bit her because either Anita asked her too or because the ardeur asked him too, but he did. And then that whole stupid fight happened and he's like, 'I'm leaving, I'm not Jean Claude's second in command or something like that, blah blah blah." and he was about to go back to France, to Belle Morte's court, but THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN because somehow someway Belle Morte killed him by only touching him, and Anita brought him back to life.

BUT can we talk about Belle Morte? I HATE HER SO MUCH. She's such a bitch. Sure, she wants to be desirable to every man, but then Anita came in the photo and then the Mother of all Darkness...waking her up....THE EFF is wrong with you, hon? THE EFF, man. And choosing Musette as a vessel of some sort...GOOD BLOODY NIGHT, WOMAN.

And the cases Anita had to solve...they were bloody AF. But thank god she executed the murder. And Dolph's breakdown in the room....Dolph needs a hug.

BUT all and all I loved it and it was amazing and I really do reconmend it a lot.

Good night this book...this book took me so long to read (because of school, testing, then me graduating and up till now, I thought I'll never finish this book at all) but I gave it 3.4 out of 5 stars, mainly because of the ending and because of the slow, action-packed read that I was ready to give it up. Like...set the book down, I can't do this anymore, this book is bloody boring, when the heck can I finish this book so I can read something else....but then after finding a playlist on Spotify, I finished it...and my god this book was really good.

Cyndere's Midnight is all about Cyndere and Jordam, an heiress and a beastman, trying to find some way to bring peace between the Cent Regus and the humans, though after Cyndere's husband's death, she thought it was all over. Everyone kept telling her to forget her husband's dreams of taming the Cent Regus and morn for him, but she wouldn't do it. Jordam is torn to be with his three brothers, including that awful Mordafey, drink the Essence, and please the Skell Wra in some sick and twisted fashion that I can't remember. But as I sat here in my kitchen and finished reading this book, I cried close to the ending....but I KNEW something was up with Ryllion and the Seer...until I read how the Seer, Pretor Xa (I know, weird name n' all) planned on the death of Cyndere's husband without her even knowing.

But I liked it, though it was slow in the beginning and picked up in the middle, along with Auralia's Colors and her caves where she shows her colors-and the ale boy (in which I want to know his name...like bro, WHAT IS YOUR NAME????) who is a descendant of Tammos Rak-who can walk through fire. Shocking, I know. BUT HE CAN WALK THROUGH FIRE AND ALSO NOT GET BURNED.
